After a fantastic summer of competitive Squash, it all came down to the final week of matches with Team Jones requiring 7 points to win the league. Bob got them off to a flying start winning a close 3-1. Next up was Jock, who went down in a tight 3-0. Leaving it all on no 1, Dan Jones, and taking time to settle down in the match, Dan pulled through with a hard fought win (3-2) to win the league in a tense match in front of a big crowd. Well Done to Team Jones!
A big thanks goes to all that took part in a tough year for the club. Playing this competition over 3 venues and some weeks with a silent referee!, the cohesiveness of the members has kept the club strong and has managed to get us through this sticky period and we now look forward to a positive season ahead!
A big thank you goes out to club coach, Tej who had the drive to keep it going and motivate players along the way.
